David Mair was born in Canada and relocated to the United States in 1954. A former teacher and filmmaker, he began his current career as a game and toy inventor in 1978. He has invented more than 750 games and toys—over 150 of which have reached the market. Currently, he lives in New Jersey with his wife Stefanie, where he creates art, gardens, and enjoys time with his four daughters and six grandchildren.
